Attica is the region of Greece that gave the modern tradition of philosophy its first rigorous method: Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, and the discipline of not claiming to know what you cannot justify. We didn't put it in our name for flavor. We put it there because it names the exact discipline healthcare AI is missing.
AI's failure mode in healthcare isn't a knowledge problem. It's a doxa problem - opinion dressed as knowledge, generated fluently, confidently, and wrong. Plato spent his life on the distinction between episteme (justified, defensible knowledge) and doxa (mere belief). Large language models collapse that distinction by default - they say what sounds right whether or not it is right. In most domains, that's a bad ad. In medicine, it's a wrong dose. We didn't invent the discipline of separating what's known from what merely sounds true. Athens did, 2400 years ago. We built a company that applies it to the one domain that can't survive without it.

A claim isn't knowledge because it sounds right. It's knowledge because it's justified and traceable. Every fact in the layer carries its source - or the system says it doesn't know.

Socrates' discipline was knowing the edge of his own knowledge. Ours is the same: when there's no certified basis for an answer, the system refuses instead of guessing.
